Delaware Bay, 2026

Earlier this month, I spent a weekend in the Delaware Bay photographing the annual horseshoe crab spawn. While the weather conditions, new moon date, tide timing, and light pollution prevented me from creating the exact photos I had visualized, the spectacle of thousands of horseshoe crabs coming ashore to spawn, alongside masses of shorebirds taking a migratory pit stop to feed on the newly laid eggs was incredible to witness.

Guyana, 2026

In January 2026, I traveled across Guyana in search of wildlife. From the mangrove-lined coasts around Georgetown to the dense rainforests of Iwokrama and the open savannas of the Rupununi, the country revealed an extraordinary range of life. Over the course of the journey, I saw more than 200 species of birds, along with several mammals and countless small critters along the way.

Experience the journey through my eyes in the portfolios Guyana 2026 Birds and Guyana 2026 Wildlife.
